Verify your identity and bank with Stripe once. From then on, rent paid in the app goes to your bank.

Pricing

No monthly fee. We earn when you get paid.

Chairside makes money from a fee on rent paid through the app. Card processing costs are included in that fee.

  • Monthly subscriptionNone. No setup fee and no contract.
  • Card and wallet payments8% app fee per payment. Card processing is included.
  • Cash and other paymentsFree. Mark them paid and they stay in your records.
  • Who covers the feeThe shop by default, or the owner can add it to the renter's total.
  • Rate lockYour shop's rate is guaranteed for 24 months from sign-up. Any change after that needs 60 days' notice.
  • RentersAlways free.

How money moves

We don't hold your money

Payments are processed by Stripe, a payment processor used by millions of businesses. Chairside never stores card numbers and never holds a shop's rent.

The barber pays the bill in Chairside. Card details are entered into Stripe's secure form.

Stripe splits itThe shop is paid, minus the fee

Stripe sends the shop's share to the shop's own Stripe account and the app fee to Chairside.

Stripe pays out to the bank account the owner verified. Refunds and disputes are handled in the app.

Who is Chairside for?

Barbershops, and the barbers who rent booths or chairs from them. It also works for salons and suites that rent space by the month, day or hour.

Do I need to change how I charge rent?

No. Keep your prices, due date, grace period and late fee rules. Chairside follows them and does the reminding for you.

Can my barbers still pay cash?

Yes. Mark the bill paid and it's recorded. There is no fee on cash or other payments made outside the app.

What happens if a renter wants a refund?

The shop decides. Owners can refund all or part of a card payment from the app, and Chairside refunds its fee on that amount.

Is it available in Spanish?

Yes. Each person can switch the app between English and Spanish, and the choice follows them to every device.

Is there an app to download?

Chairside works in any web browser on a phone, tablet or computer today. iPhone and Android apps are on the way.
